# Split LinkedIn posts for India's Network feed test

> LinkedIn is testing a Network feed in India. Post once for people who know you, and once for people who do not. Skip US-only earning tools.

Pixipie is an AI marketing platform for growing businesses that helps you plan, create, automate, and publish social content—and reply to Google reviews—from one dashboard.

LinkedIn is testing a feed for people you already know, and India is one of the first markets named. That is a planning change, not a new product you have to buy. On 15 October 2026, LinkedIn's newsroom published [New ways to build meaningful connections](https://news.linkedin.com/2026/new-ways-to-build-meaningful-connections). The note says a Network feed, showing posts from connections and people you follow, is rolling out as a test starting in the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Forbes wrote about the personal-brand side of those changes on 25 October 2026. Pixipie is an AI marketing platform for growing businesses that helps you plan, create, automate, and publish social content—and reply to Google reviews—from one dashboard. Here is the split an Indian owner can use this month without pretending every new LinkedIn button is already on their phone.

## What LinkedIn is testing

The Network feed is a separate place for posts from your connections and the people you follow. The point, in LinkedIn's own words, is to make it easier to keep up with people you know and trust. The main recommended feed can still show posts from outside that circle. You do not control which tab a stranger opens. You do control whether your post is useful to someone who already bought from you, and whether a second post is useful to someone who has never heard of you.

Other items in the same announcement are easy to mix up with the feed test. A digital business card is rolling out globally over the coming months. Private notes on profiles are for Premium subscribers. Authors can pin a comment. A creator dashboard is described as coming globally over the following weeks. None of that is a Pixipie screen. If you do not see the Network tab, do not write a caption that says "find us on the Network feed." Say what you do and where you are. The tab can arrive later.

## What is not an India feature yet

Two earning tools in the same post are narrower than the headline. In-Stream Ads, which can pay eligible creators when a pre-roll ad runs on their video, are being tested with selected creators and advertisers in the United States. Advice Sessions, paid one-to-one calls from a profile, are available to Business Premium subscribers in the United States, with more markets later. LinkedIn did not say those income tools are open across India.

Do not put "book a paid LinkedIn consultation" or "we earn from in-stream ads" on a Company Page because you read the announcement. If the button is not on your own profile, it is not your offer. Pixipie does not enable Advice Sessions, In-Stream Ads, or profile notes. It can help you draft and publish a normal LinkedIn post after you connect the account.

Hootsuite, Buffer, and SocialBee already explain the LinkedIn algorithm in general guides. Metricool has written about a different Suggested Feeds test from around June 2026. Those are not this Network-feed note. Use LinkedIn's 15 October post as the source for what is actually being tested, and treat older algorithm essays as background, not as the change itself.

## Two posts, two jobs

Write two different posts. Do not paste one caption into both jobs.

The first post is for people who already know the business. They may be past clients, referrers, or staff who follow the Company Page. Tell them something they can use this week: a change in hours, a service you have capacity for, or a lesson from a job you are allowed to describe. A CA in Pune might write: "If your March invoice still says the old GST address, send it back before Friday. We are checking those this week." That is a Network post. It assumes the reader already has a file with you.

The second post is for someone who does not know you. Teach one step, with the city in the first lines. The same CA might write: "In Pune, a freelance designer asked why the invoice city and the GST city did not match. Here is the one line we fix before we file." No "10x your hustle." No discount sticker from Instagram. The reader should be able to tell what you do and whether they are in the right city.

A clinic group can split the same way. Network: "Dr Shah is on leave Thursday; call the front desk, do not walk in for that slot." Discovery: "What to bring to a first visit at our Kondapur clinic." A tutoring centre can tell current parents about the Sunday batch, and tell strangers how the first assessment works. A freelancer can tell existing clients that revisions close on Friday, and tell strangers one before-and-after of a brief they are allowed to show.

If you only have time for one post, write the one you will still answer in the comments. Silence after a confident post is worse than skipping the week.

## A week that fits a busy owner

You already have a slower LinkedIn habit in [LinkedIn for Indian small businesses](/blog/linkedin-marketing-for-indian-small-businesses). This test does not raise the quota. One useful post is enough if Facebook and Instagram carry the offers.

A practical week:

- Monday: the Instagram or Facebook proof post, with the same facts you will not contradict later.
- Midweek: the LinkedIn note for people who know you, if you have a real update.
- Later in the week, only if the first LinkedIn note is approved: the teaching post for strangers.
- Reviews on Google when they are waiting. That is [review replies](/features/google-review-replies), not a LinkedIn format.

Put both drafts on the [Content Planner](/features/content-planner) so you can see that the hours match. If you already schedule Instagram and Facebook, the steps for adding LinkedIn are in [schedule LinkedIn beside Instagram and Facebook](/blog/linkedin-scheduling-with-instagram-facebook-india). Connect only the profile or Company Page you will open. The OAuth path is the [integrations guide](/resources/pixipie-facebook-instagram-linkedin-integrations).

Agencies running several client pages should not spray the same "Network feed is here" line onto every account. Check whether that client even uses LinkedIn. A restaurant that fills tables from the neighbourhood can stay on Instagram and Facebook. A B2B supplier who lives on referrals should take the Network post seriously, because the people who refer them are the ones the new tab is built to surface.

## Company Page or profile

Use the same choice you already made. A profile fits a person: consultant, tutor, freelancer. A Company Page fits a practice that should outlast one login. Do not run both with different fees. If several people will publish later, look at the live limits on [pricing](/pricing) instead of guessing a seat count in the caption.

The Network test does not mean you should invite every contact to follow a Page this afternoon. Invites you will not follow up on are noise. Ask the people who already send you work to follow the Page, then post something they would forward. A digital business card can wait until it shows on your own app. A card with an old phone number is worse than no card.

## Review the facts before you publish

Read the draft as if a client will screenshot it. The city, the fee, and the deadline have to match the invoice and the website. If you mention a client, you need permission. If you mention a LinkedIn feature, you need to see it on your account today.

Cut these lines unless they are true on your login:

- "Find this on our Network tab."
- "Book a paid Advice Session on LinkedIn."
- "We monetise video with In-Stream Ads."
- Any reach or income figure you did not measure yourself.

Draft the teaching post in the [AI Post Creator](/features/ai-post-creator) with a brief that locks the tone: "LinkedIn, educational, Hyderabad clinic, no discount, no new LinkedIn product names." Then read it again. AI will happily invent a feature name. You delete that sentence. The wider India context for this kind of draft is [AI marketing for Indian small businesses](/resources/ai-marketing-for-indian-small-businesses).

## Where this sits next to Instagram

Instagram is in the middle of its own test, long horizontal videos for selected creators, mostly described as a US and Brazil rollout. Do not merge the two stories into one caption. Your LinkedIn readers do not need a note about Apple TV. Your Instagram followers do not need a note about a Network tab. Each network gets the fact that belongs there.

Keep the Instagram week on short proof. Keep the LinkedIn week on one professional explanation. If both drafts say different hours, fix them before either goes out. The [weekly planner](/blog/weekly-social-media-planner-for-indian-smbs) is still the place those two drafts should agree.

## What not to promise

Do not promise that the Network feed will raise your reach. LinkedIn did not publish a reach number, and a test that has not reached your account cannot be your result. Do not promise income from Advice Sessions or video ads outside the countries LinkedIn named. Do not tell a shop owner that Pixipie turned the new feed on. The feed is LinkedIn's test. Your job is the sentence a past client can use and the sentence a stranger can trust.

Check your app once. If the Network tab is there, the "people who know us" post is the one to publish first. If it is not there, publish the teaching post anyway, as a normal LinkedIn update, and wait for the tab. Either way, approve only what you can defend at the counter tomorrow morning.
