Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the cancellation and refund procedures for subscriptions to Pixipie's AI-powered marketing platform services. By subscribing to Pixipie, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy. Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase or subscription.

2. Subscription Cancellation

A. How to Cancel

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the Pixipie platform (app.pixipie.com).
• Alternatively, you can contact our support team at hello@pixipie.com to request cancellation.
• Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before your next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming period.

B. Effect of Cancellation

• Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
• You will continue to have access to all Pixipie features (Post Creator, Pixi AI Campaign, Social Connecter, Smart Insights, Pixi Copilot, Chat Agent) until your subscription expires.
• After the subscription period ends, your account will be downgraded to a free tier (if available) or suspended, depending on your plan.
• You will not be charged for any subsequent billing cycles after cancellation.

C. Free Trial Cancellation

• If you are on a free trial, you may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged.
• Canceling during the free trial will immediately stop access to premium features at the end of the trial period.

3. Refund Policy

A. General Refund Terms

1. Monthly Subscriptions: Refunds are available for monthly subscriptions if requested within 7 days of the initial purchase or renewal date. Refunds will be prorated based on the unused portion of the subscription period.
2. Annual Subscriptions: Refunds are available for annual subscriptions if requested within 30 days of the initial purchase or renewal date. Refunds will be prorated based on the unused portion of the subscription period.
3. Processing Time: Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method used for the purchase.

B. Non-Refundable Items

• Free trial periods are not eligible for refunds as no payment is required.
• Refunds will not be provided for subscriptions that have been used extensively (e.g., high usage of AI content generation, multiple social media posts published) beyond a reasonable trial period.
• Refunds are not available for add-on services, one-time purchases, or promotional offers unless explicitly stated otherwise.

C. Refund Request Process

• To request a refund, contact our support team at hello@pixipie.com with your account details and reason for the refund request.
• Include your account email, subscription plan, and purchase date in your refund request.
• Our team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.
• Refund approval is at Pixipie's sole discretion and will be based on the circumstances of your request and our refund policy terms.

4. Subscription Plan Changes

1. You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time through your account settings.
2. Upgrades: When upgrading, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. The new plan features will be available immediately.
3. Downgrades: When downgrading, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until the cycle ends.
4. No refunds will be provided for the unused portion when downgrading mid-cycle, but you will be charged the lower rate on your next billing date.

5. Billing Disputes

• If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us at hello@pixipie.com within 30 days of the charge.
• We will investigate the issue and work with you to resolve any billing discrepancies.
• If a billing error is confirmed, we will issue a credit or refund as appropriate.

6. Service Interruptions

• If Pixipie experiences extended service outages or technical issues that prevent you from using the service for more than 48 consecutive hours, you may be eligible for a service credit or extension.
• Service credits will be applied to your account and will extend your subscription period accordingly.
• To request a service credit, contact our support team with details of the service interruption.
