AI Social Post Review Checklist Before You Publish

Author: Dipak P.

An AI social post review checklist is the five-minute till check before anything goes to Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn: price, date, city, CTA, watermark, and who will answer comments. Pixipie is an AI marketing platform for small businesses that helps you plan, create, automate, and publish social content—and reply to Google reviews—from one dashboard. Review-before-publish is the product, not a bottleneck. Automation background: social media automation for small businesses.

AI is fluent. Fluency is how a fake “limited seats” line survives until a customer screenshots it. The owner who signs the caption owns the till.

The checklist (print it)

Run every draft—manual, AI Post Creator, or AI Campaigns—through this list. If any line fails, leave the post as draft.

  1. Price is on the board. INR figure matches today. If there is no offer, there is no offer sentence.
  2. Date is real. Festival hours, Sunday opening, “this weekend” only if the calendar agrees.
  3. Locality is true. City or area you serve. One mention in the hook is enough (local SEO captions). No stuffing, no cities you do not serve.
  4. CTA is staffed. Call, WhatsApp, walk-in, or a URL you own. Someone answers the same day on every channel in the slot.
  5. Watermark or logo is current. File in the media library; applied via brand watermarks. Not last year’s stamp. See watermark for Instagram and Facebook.
  6. No invented scarcity or medical/legal claims. Delete “only 3 left” unless inventory is real. Clinics: no miracle copy (dental clinic guide).
  7. Not a duplicate of yesterday. If the hook is the same offer, skip or merge. Mix lives in the weekly planner and 14-day campaigns.
  8. Comments plan exists. Name who watches Facebook Page, Instagram professional, and LinkedIn for that slot.
  9. Hashtags are last and few. Generate with the hashtag generator after the caption is honest.
  10. Google replies are not ignored. A new feed post does not excuse an unanswered review (review scripts).

Where the checklist sits in Pixipie

  • Create Post: draft → edit → checklist → schedule or publish.
  • Planner: the calendar is the truth check—closed Mondays cannot host a walk-in offer (Content Planner).
  • Campaigns: email ~six hours early. Reject or pause one slot without killing the fortnight. Festive templates still get the watermark and the hours check (Diwali campaign, restaurants).
  • Coins: generation spends PixiCoins; editing a draft you already have typically does not (PixiCoins, pricing).

Kick Starter is the 14-day setup to practise this loop. AI Campaigns are on Solo ₹499/mo and above.

Who holds the pen

One approver. They know stock and fees. Give them this list on paper for the first month. If they are on the floor, batch approvals in the same 45-minute weekly block. Do not crowd-source captions in a family WhatsApp at 11 p.m.

LinkedIn gets the same facts in a calmer voice (LinkedIn for Indian SMBs). Do not skip the checklist because “it is only LinkedIn.”

Common fails (delete these sentences)

  • “Amazing deals coming soon”
  • A discount the POS does not know
  • Last year’s logo on a new offer
  • WhatsApp CTA when the number is the owner’s personal chat and they are in surgery
  • City names copied from a competitor
  • Festival greeting that says you are open when you are closed
  • Before/after without permission

Pixipie will not catch all of this for you. It will give you time and a draft. You still tap approve.

A five-minute pass you can do on a phone

You do not need a laptop. Open the draft, read the first two lines out loud, and ask: would I say this at the door? If the answer is no, the post is not ready. Check the creative on a small screen: is the watermark readable, or did it cover the plate? Is the date in the caption the same as the sticker on the image? Mismatched dates are how festival posts embarrass the shop.

If the draft is in Hindi and the reviewer used English on Google, that is fine—keep one language per post so staff can follow comments. If the model mixed both and invented a discount in the second language, cut that paragraph.

After publish

If a wrong price went out, comment the correction on the post and fix the planner. Do not silently delete and hope. Then add that failure to next week’s 45 minutes. Tell the person who generated the draft what failed so the next brief is tighter: “Price is ₹4,999, not a sale. City is Navrangpura. CTA is WhatsApp only.”

Trust is slower than a template. Businesses that review every AI line keep customers; businesses that “just auto-post” train mute and one-star reviews. Start Kick Starter with no credit card, keep approval with the person at the till, and treat this checklist as non-negotiable.
